More charges filed against a Hampton man charged with attempted murder

More charges have been filed against a 22-year-old Hampton man who is alleged to have stabbed another person on May 24th.

Isidoro Moreno Montalvo was originally charged with attempted murder after the victim was stabbed multiple times.  The new charges are willful injury causing serious injury, going armed with intent, and for possession or carrying of dangerous weapons while under the influence.

Moreno Montalvo entered a written not guilty plea to the charges on Friday, and a trial date has not been set.  He remains held at the Hardin County Jail.

If convicted on the felony charges, Moreno Montalvo could be sentenced for up to 40-years in prison.
