The Clarksville City Council Monday held a discussion about food trucks in the community.
Council member Jennifer Kielman wondered if there was a way to control the type of food trucks coming to the area to protect the brick/mortar businesses.
Kielman stated that when the food trucks first started coming to town that most were items not already sold by establishments in town.
Council member Roger Doty questioned whether this would be considered discrimination if you would limit the types of food trucks coming into Clarksville.
Mayor Jerald Heuer stated that he feels that it is a personal decision of where people want to eat. No action was taken by the Clarksville City Council.
