The IHSAA has announced baseball playoff brackets for Classes 1A and 2A.
In 1A District 4, AGWSR will meet North Butler for a neutral site first round game at Wapsie Valley. In the other half of the bracket, West Fork will play West Hancock in a first round game hosted by Lake Mills.
Clarksville is in 1A District 6, and will play a first round game at top-seeded Newman Catholic.
Grundy Center is the top seed in 2A District 6, and will host a district semifinal against either Oelwein or Crestwood.
Aplington-Parkersburg is the #3-seed in 2A District 12, and will host Jesup for a first round game. The winner will advance to a district semifinal against #2-seed Dike-New Hartford, which will be played in Anamosa.
Clarion-Goldfield-Dows is in 2A District 13, and will play Eagle Grove in a neutral site game at Garner Hayfield Ventura. After that game is complete, Belmond-Klemme will play the hosts in the other first round game.
Iowa Falls-Alden will play at #3-seed South Hardin in a 2A District 14 first round game.
The playoffs will begin Saturday, July 5.
