Drought conditions improved in Iowa in the past week.
According to the latest U-S Drought Monitor Report through Tuesday morning, the area with no drought conditions listed increased almost 11 percent to 31-point-47 percent in the state.
The coverage area for abnormally dry conditions dropped by over 11 percent, while the coverage area in Iowa for the moderate drought category dropped to 11-point-63 percent.
No drought conditions were reported in the broadcast area.
