Head Coach Sadie Winfrey on cleaning up errors.

“Until the end there, this was the team that I like to see and the team that we are. Being able to handle high pressure situations. It’s those mental errors right now, silly fielding things that we don’t do when we practice and we don’t do when we warm up and stuff. It’s just those situations we have to mentally be ready for,” says Winfrey. “Hopefully we can come out strong tomorrow and finish our week out strong.”

Preslee Dickman went 4-4 to lead the bats. Libby Trewin in the circle for the Warhawks had two strikeouts and allowed two earned runs in 6.2 innings in the loss.

West Fork (10-4) will be at Northwood-Kensett on Friday. First pitch is at 6:00 p.m. in Northwood.

In the baseball game, after trailing 1-0, West Fork plated a run in the second and two in the third to take the lead for good at 3-1.
