The Sports Beat programs from RadioOnTheGo Sports air each Saturday, presented on 104.9 KLMJ by Mort’s Water Company and on 99 The Wave by Brother’s Market.
The programs began with several area summer sports coaches breaking down the last several games. It’ll also feature interviews with area student-athletes from this week’s games, including those from Dike-New Hartford Softball, Grundy Center Baseball, and more.
Near the end of the programs, North Butler alum Kiya Johnson shared about her college softball career, Rex Carr of Hampton-Dumont-CAL Birdbusters discussed the latest with the program, and Green Belt Bank & Trust Board Chair Chris Weaver discussed an upcoming all-star softball game in Iowa Falls which the organization is sponsoring.
The programs air each Saturday at 8:30 a.m. on 104.9 KLMJ and 10:00 a.m. on 99 The Wave. On-demand programs are available at radioonthego.com and many podcast platforms.
