This past Thursday the Belmond-Klemme School Board accepted 1-thousand dollars from the Knights of Columbus to help pay for the negative lunch accounts.
The B-K board heard a report from Superintendent Jenn Peter, who told the board members that communication improvement is a major focus of the upcoming year.
In addition, Peter says the summer food service program has seen a large increase in participation with the non-congregate meal model being used.
