If you travel on westbound Highway 122 in Mason City you need to be aware of an upcoming traffic pattern change that will impact your trip if you are trying to reach MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center.
Crews have finished the latest stage of the project and are now preparing for the next. Weather permitting, Tuesday morning, crews will close Mercy Drive at the intersection with Highway 122. At the same time, Crescent Drive, which had been closed for reconstruction, will be opened to traffic. If you are driving west, you will access the hospital from Crescent Drive.
The intersections to access the hospital at Mercy Drive and Taylor Avenue will be closed for reconstruction. When driving east on 122, you will access the hospital from Pierce Avenue.
