The #2 (1A) Clarksville softball team will host a triangular with #8 (2A) West Fork and #11 (2A) Central Springs Wednesday. West Fork’s game against Central Springs was originally scheduled for earlier in the season, but moved due to weather conditions.
Coming off Tuesday’s 6-3 win over Waverly-Shell Rock, the Indians will take on the Panthers in the opener at 4:00. Head Coach Katie Burman looks forward to facing quality pitching before postseason play.
The conference game between the Warhawks and Panthers will start at 6:00. When the teams met previously, West Fork won 6-1 at home. Head Coach Sadie Winfrey says the mental aspect of the game will be a key factor against quality opponents.
West Fork will take on the hosts in the final game of the day, which is scheduled for 8:00.
Games 2 and 3 will air on 104.9 KLMJ, with pregame coverage starting at 5:45.
