The 15th Street intersection with Highway 65/South Federal Avenue in Mason City will be closed to traffic beginning Monday, weather permitting.
The Iowa Department of Transportation says Highway 65/South Federal Avenue is currently closed between 6th and 15th Streets, with the 15th Street intersection remaining open through this weekend.
The closure will extend south on 65/Federal to 16th Street, however, the 16th Street intersection will remain open to local traffic.
Once construction work is completed on the northern part of the project, the roadway between 6th and 10th Streets will be opened to local traffic in segments this month.
