
Through Tuesday morning, the latest U-S Drought Monitor Report shows the drought conditions continue to improve in Iowa.
Over 57 percent of the state is now drought free, up almost 12 percent from last week.
The abnormally dry category dropped to just over 38 percent, and the moderate drought category dropped to 4-point-56 percent.
The entire broadcast area remains drought free this week. The estimated population of drought areas in the state is around 100-thousand people.
