Monday evening during the Hampton City Council meeting, Kristin Roode was given the oath of office for the Ward 1 seat on the council.
In other business, the Hampton council tabled any action on fence quotes for the skate park.
The Hampton City Council also approved and adopted sanitary sewer agreements with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the Beeds Lake Homeowners Association.
