A 28-year-old Hampton man was convicted Tuesday by a jury on three counts of 2nd degree sexual abuse.
Benjamin Harold Green was arrested in May of 2023. The state alleged that Green sexually abused three children at various times between September of 2014 and February of 2020 while he was employed at the Hampton Community Christian Daycare.
His trial had been moved to Worth County on a change of venue due to pre-trial publicity.
His sentencing was set for September 4th at 1:30pm in Franklin County District Court in Hampton. Green faces up to 75-years in prison.
