An oversized load damaged part of the railroad track going through Highway 3 by the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Hampton Tuesday about 5:30pm.
The Union Pacific Railroad Company worked on the crossing and the track, and Highway 3 was reopened to traffic by the Hampton Police Department a couple of hours later.
