Thursday morning, the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows School Board received an update on expense reports from School Business Official and Board Secretary Anita Frye.
In addition, Frye shared that the current amount of outstanding school lunch balances with no attempt to make payment arrangements, will lead to the district filing actions in small claims court.
There will also be different filings for those that give the district a “bad check” and do not correct it with the district.
In other business, the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows School Board reviewed a district deductible analysis regarding insurance policies, and decided to make a couple of changes, which will save the district $37,669 in premiums during fiscal year 2026.
