
This week the Grundy Center City Council discussed the future of the current Ambulance/Fire Station building at 507 “F” Avenue for a potential addition and renovation project.
The property owner to the east of the current ambulance/fire building has offered to sell a sizable piece of the property to the city, no formal agreement has been reviewed as of yet.
City staff has been speaking with an architectural firm to start the planning process of possibly a 42-hundred square foot addition to the current station.
No formal action was taken on the topic by the Grundy Center City Council.
