Today the Franklin County Board of Supervisors reviewed items to be placed in a fiscal year 2026 budget amendment.
The amendment will include funding for the repairs to the courthouse roof, and to the statutes on top of the courthouse.
This is Franklin County Auditor Katy Flint.
“I went ahead and threw in $100,000 for courthouse statue repairs. I will have a resolution eventually authorizing the Special Projects Fund for that as well. The team from Minneapolis came last week to get their eyes on them specifically, and now they’re working on their proposal. So then I’ll have a better idea in the next couple weeks.”
The public hearing on the proposed fiscal year 2026 budget amendment was set for July 28th at 9:15am.
