Last week, the Ackley City Council approved to dispose of more assets from the police department.
One police department computer and monitor is going to the Ackley Fire Department, a copier/printer is being moved to the desk of the deputy city clerk, and the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department will be purchasing six Glock guns for $275 each.
In other business, a total of seven bids were received for the North 12th Street Storm Sewer Extension project, and for the Cerro Gordo Street Storm Sewer Improvement project.
The winning bid was from McDowell & Sons for $352,611.
