The spring and summer rains have been causing some issues with the secondary roads in the local area.
Jeremy Abbas, the Assistant Wright County Engineer, told the Wright supervisors this week that when any repairs need to be made to the gravel roads, that information is also shared with the county emergency management office.
“Every single action we’ve taken from the office all the way to the road is treated as a FEMA project. So all that is collected and everything’s tracked so if we’re to be able to get to that point, surrounding counties gets to that number, that threshold, we will be ready to go. Treat every single time we get flooding, we treat it like it’s gonna be a FEMA event.”
More rain chances are in the forecast for the upcoming weekend.
