
The Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA) of Iowa is holding their annual Heartland Rally in Hampton Friday through Sunday. Around 200 people are expected to attend. Hampton and Franklin County residents are also invited to participate. Live music and family games will kick off the event Friday at Band Shell Park from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Saturday’s events include a service at Faith Baptist Church at 9:00 a.m. Bike games and a motorcycle show will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the park. Bike show categories are people’s choice, custom and oldest. The 2024 film, “The Forge,” will be shown at the Windsor Theatre Saturday at 7:00 p.m. There is no charge for admission.
Sunday’s activities include a service at Faith Baptist Church at 9:30 a.m. Providing music Friday night, and during Sunday’s service, is Choose This Day.
Many CMA events are held throughout the year, including Iowa’s Heartland Rally. Hampton was selected by State of Iowa Coordinator Ron Hamrick. The state rally had been in Fort Dodge in previous years but was moved due to a conflict with the date. The event will now be held annually in Hampton.
