The Iowa REALTORS organization today released the housing statistics for the month of June.
New listings for single family homes continued to increase year-over-year, jumping 3-point-1 percent to 4,325 new listings in June, compared to the 3,970 of last year.
Active inventory remained steady, increasing 19-point-6 percent year-over-year with 8,606 homes on the market in June.
3,617 sales were closed last month in Iowa, an increase of 8-point-3 percent from one year ago.
The median sales price in June was 260-thousand dollars, while days on the market increased 18-point-2 percent, both year-over-year and month over month, sitting at a median of 13 days on the market in June.
