A member of the Clarion City Council is resigning.
Councilman Shayne Hennigar says his business, Crystal Clean Carpet, is picking up, and he is not guaranteed to be in Iowa, let alone Clarion, to attend meetings.
The Clarion City Council will seek appointing a person to fill the remainder of Hennigar’s term, which runs through the end of 2027.
