The Grundy Center School Board held a special and regular meeting Wednesday, July 16.
In the special meeting, they approved the appointment of Austin Appel to the board, elected Mary Breyfogle as the board president, and elected Steven Martens as the vice president.
In the regular meeting, they approved budgets for technology and curriculum, and approved elementary and secondary student handbooks. At the end of the meeting, they entered a closed session to discuss the Emergency Operating Plan, and approved the plan before adjournment.
