Monday, the Alden City Council revisited an earlier decision to close the city swimming pool August 17th.
Upon further review, it was determined that there would be enough staff to keep the pool open until August 24th, and that new date was approved by the Alden council.
In other business, the city council discussed contract terms to rent the Alden Legion Community Center building.
No action was taken by the Alden City Council, with the topic expected to be further discussed at the August 18th council business meeting.
