The Hampton-Dumont-CAL baseball team struggled to find the win column on many nights throughout the season, but Head Coach Matt Lokenvitz says the team will grow from the experiences moving forward. With five underclassmen contributing in starting positions, Lokenvitz says a rebuild was expected, but the team made progress.
They closed the season on a nine-game losing streak, but held close with eventual state qualifier Boone in the postseason opener. The team went 7-21 and graduated seven seniors.
