The city council in Grundy Center this week authorized the mayor to sign an agreement with an architectural firm for engineering services for an addition and renovations to the Fire/Ambulance Station project.
Discussion was held on a potential land purchase and the mayor commented that there had been no agreed upon price.
Engineers will compile the needs/wants from all departments involved and begin planning and estimating cost and feasibility.
