Drought conditions are almost completely gone from Iowa.
The latest U-S Drought Monitor Report shows that through Tuesday morning, almost 96 percent of the state was drought free, up from just over 88 percent from the week before.
The coverage area for abnormally dry conditions dropped to 3-point-12 percent, while the coverage area for the moderate drought category was just below 1 percent.
3 months ago, around 28 percent of Iowa was drought free.
