The City of Ventura suffered storm damage and lost power city wide last night.
There have been no reported injuries, even though two trailers at the Clear Water Campground along Highway 18 were blown over.
City officials are asking non-residents to avoid traveling through the city to simply observe storm damage. Additional vehicle traffic is making it difficult for large equipment to operate while cleaning up storm debris and there are dangerous conditions throughout Ventura.
If you are a resident or own property that was damaged in last night’s storms, you may self-report damage to the Cerro Gordo County Emergency Management Office, or by going online to cerrogordo.gov.
