U.S. Senate candidate Nathan Sage has announced that he will launch his “99 Counties in 99 Days for the 99%” tour this Friday in Warren County as part of his campaign to earn the Democratic nomination to challenge Senator Joni Ernst, a Republican from Red Oak, in 2026. The tour includes weekend stops in Mitchell, Polk, Bremer, and Hardin counties.

On Saturday, Sage will be part of the “Rally for Rural Voices” in Iowa Falls at 6 p.m., highlighting rural concerns and connecting with voters across central Iowa.

Sage, an Iraq War veteran, says he was raised in a trailer park in Mason City, and served in both the Marine Corps and U.S. Army before earning his degree through the GI Bill. His professional career has included work as a mechanic, sports broadcaster, and currently, Executive Director of the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce. He lives in Indianola with his wife and two children. Sage’s “99 Counties in 99 Days for the 99%” tour is scheduled to conclude November 4 in Polk County.
