Wednesday afternoon (Jul. 30), the Butler County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of stolen keys in Kesley. Sheriff Jason Johnson tells RadioOnTheGo News that the keys had been reported taken from multiple vehicles in the area. Authorities determined that the incident involved only juvenile offenders. Sheriff Johnson confirmed that the stolen keys have since been recovered and returned to their owners.
No vehicles were reported stolen or damaged, but the incident serves as a reminder to keep vehicles locked and secure, even in small communities like Kesley.
