The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is raising funds to outfit a new custom cruiser for K-9 Deputy Skye. The community is invited to meet Skye during National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Hampton-Dumont High School. Skye works alongside Deputy Chase Weinandy and needs a specially equipped vehicle to stay safe and ready for duty. Named after the “Paw Patrol” character, Skye plays a key role in local law enforcement efforts.
Donations will help finish outfitting her cruiser with the gear she needs. Contributions can be made at the National Night Out event or mailed to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office at P.O. Box 57, Hampton, IA 50441.
Every dollar supports Skye’s comfort and safety while serving the community.
