
The Sports Beat programs from RadioOnTheGo Sports air each Saturday, presented on 104.9 KLMJ by Mort’s Water Company and on 99 The Wave by Brother’s Market.
The programs began with more summer sports recaps with local high school coaches.
On 104.9 KLMJ, the second half of the program began with Clarion-Goldfield-Dows graduate MaKayla Beisel, who recently was on the Shrine Bowl Cheer Squad and will be attending a performing arts school in Las Vegas for dance. Diane Harms was featured about being inducted into the UNI Athletics Hall of Fame, and IGHSAU Executive Director Erin Gerlich discussed the latest with the organization. Part 1 of a two-part interview series with Iowa Director of Football Operations Ben Hansen aired. Hansen is a Hampton native.
On 99 The Wave, Aplington-Parkersburg alum Kasidy Mohwinkle discussed a recent opportunity to play volleyball in Brazil, and about her upcoming senior season at Northwest Missouri State. AGWSR graduate Trevyn Smith joined the program to discuss continuing her volleyball career at Southwest Minnesota State. The final two interviews featured Iowa Women’s Basketball PA Announcer David Gallagher, who was a RAGBRAI participant, and Michael Kuehner on the Drive for Dollars golf outing in Hampton.
