
A 19-year-old was arrested over the weekend in Eldora on a probation violation warrant connected to an attempted murder case.
According to the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, 19-year-old Devon Morgan, address unknown, was taken into custody shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday in Eldora. The no-bond warrant was issued for a violation of probation referencing an original charge of attempt to commit murder and assault on persons in certain occupations.
Morgan was transported to the Hardin County Jail, where he remained in custody as of Monday morning.
The Sheriff’s Office has not released details regarding the circumstances of the original charges. Additional court proceedings are expected.
Morgan is being held without bond and will remain in custody until appearing before a judge. The case remains under the jurisdiction of the Hardin County District Court.
