The Hampton Fire Department has received a $2,150 donation from Castle, Dick and Kelch (CDK). Hampton firefighter Joel McWilliams says the funds will support future equipment purchases.
Last year, the Hampton Firefighters Association used donated funds to contribute $10,000 toward the purchase of a new fire truck for the city.
This latest donation was presented Monday night by Tom Birdsell with CDK. Community donations and support plays a vital role in maintaining equipment and enhancing emergency response capabilities.
