
The Franklin County Board of Supervisors will meet Monday (Aug. 11) at the Law Enforcement Center in Hampton. The session will open with public comments and committee updates, followed by a report from Secondary Roads Engineer Jay Waddingham. The board will consider rescheduling a public hearing on vacating a county right-of-way in Burdette, approve two road closures for bridge and culvert work, and act on a resolution for monthly fund transfers to the Secondary Roads Fund.
At 10 a.m., supervisors will hold a public hearing on a proposed modification to the DD3 Main Open Ditch, review the engineer’s report, and potentially direct plans and specifications to be prepared. Department updates from CICS, Emergency Management, and Secondary Roads are also on the agenda, along with ICAP renewal and a business agreement with CICS.
The meeting is open to the public and may be viewed on the county’s YouTube Channel. The Franklin County Supervisors meeting will be held at the Law Enforcement Center in Hampton beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday (Aug. 11).
