Hampton-Dumont-CAL football camp has wrapped up and here are this year’s winners of the 32nd annual Iron Dog competition:
2025 Overall Top Dog:
Junior Briggs Gruelke with 126 points
Seniors:
Madden Evans, Ryder Strother, Brady Harr, Carter Arends, Caden Woods and Josh Wohlford
Juniors:
Joe Weinandy, Cooper Bird, Jory Angstman, Joe Powers, Beau Morton
Sophomores:
Bayden Wrich, Blaek Burmester, Madox Strother and Luke Showalter
Freshman:
James Conlon and Jared Sosa.
The competition was started by former head football coach, Jerry Shafrath in 1994. It includes testing that combines running, jumping, weight lifting and other agility drills. H-D-CAL will officially begin practice on Monday. The Bulldogs will kickoff the 2025 season at Osage on Friday, August 29.
