The Hubbard City Council is scheduled for their regular meeting on Monday (Aug. 11). Topping the agenda is discussion of needed storm sewer repairs and a proposed infrastructure fee to help pay for the work. The council will also consider bids for trimming and removing trees at the park and a possible purchase of a vacuum and jetter equipment for up to $5,000 using local option sales tax funds.
Other items include approving two resolutions—one transferring library endowment earnings to a checking account, and another adopting the Fiscal Year 2025 Street Finance Report. A new library board trustee is set to be appointed, and the city’s debt obligation report will be reviewed.
Committee reports from city departments are also scheduled. The next Hubbard City Council meeting begins Monday evening at 6 o’clock in the City Hall Council Chambers.
