The Aplington-Parkersburg girls tennis team will begin its season Monday at Oelwein.
The Falcons are coming off a season where they graduated three seniors, each of whom competed in the 2025 spring individual state tournament. However, the roster is expected to contain three players who played varsity singles last year, who each will play in higher positions.
Oelwein is coming off a season where they graduated four players from a team that finished near the bottom of the NICL standings. They’ll have two singles players with prior varsity matches under their belts, but a lot of ground to make up.
Action will start at 10:00 a.m.
