The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office booked two individuals following unrelated arrests early Sunday morning in Hampton.
36-year-old, Martin Ferias-Diaz, was arrested by Hampton Police for a first offense Operating While Intoxicated charge and was given a court date in Franklin County. Sheriff Aaron Dodd tells RadioOnTheGo News that he is currently being held on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer. Ferias-Diaz was transported to the Hardin County Jail in Eldora where he remained in custody Monday afternoon.
In a separate incident, 21-year-old Zayden Johnstone of Hampton was arrested by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office at a residence on Dorell Drive on charges of first offense domestic abuse following an incident involving a female victim. Johnstone appeared before the Magistrate and was released on his own recognizance.
