
The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows School Board will hold its regular meeting Thursday (Aug. 14) afternoon. New business includes discussion and selection of the district’s 2026 legislative priorities through the Rural School Advocates of Iowa and a decision on policy goals and objectives for the education program.
Board members will also review and approve several fiscal year 2026 agreements, contracts, and student handbooks, along with the 2024 audit. The agenda includes financial reports, updates on bus and vehicle camera systems, and a building and grounds report.
Following the regular meeting, the board is scheduled to enter closed session for the superintendent’s evaluation under Iowa Code.
The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows School Board meets Thursday afternoon, 4:30 p.m. at the district office in Clarion.
