The Grundy County Road Department is alerting drivers to road restrictions south and west of Wellsburg due to MidAmerican Energy’s wind turbine repowering project. The work began Monday (Aug. 11) morning and is expected to cause a significant increase in vehicle and truck traffic in the area. Drivers should be prepared for slower travel and possible delays, especially on C Avenue and nearby roads as far south as Highway 175 between Grundy Center and Eldora.
