
The Iowa Falls-Alden girls tennis team competed in some close matches, but fell 7-2 at Webster City to begin the season Tuesday.
Isabelle Janssen won 2-1 at #2 singles, including 12-10 in a super tiebreaker. Kyrstin Miller/Addison Venner won 6-3, 6-2 at #3 doubles.
Two other matches reached super tiebreakers, but were won by Webster City, including Jordyn Carpenter at #1 singles and Ryleigh Jass/Morgan Brennan at #2 doubles.
In their next action, they’ll join Osage at a triangular at Dike-New Hartford Thursday.
