
The Eldora-New Providence school board held a regular business meeting on Monday at the South Hardin Media Center.
The board approved to increase the superintendent’s purchasing authority from $5,000 to $10,000. The board approved a contract to sell old buses with Commercial Industrial Service (CIS) auctions. They also approved a new English language arts curriculum.
In other business, the board approved a 2025-26 technology and services agreement with the Central Rivers Area Education Agency (AEA). The board also approved an attorney for the district from the Ahlers and Cooney firm.
The Eldora-New Providence school board’s next meeting will be held on Monday, September 8.
