The Dike-New Hartford girls tennis team will host Iowa Falls-Alden and Osage for a non-conference triangular Thursday. It’ll be the home opener for the Wolverines.
DNH (4-0) is undefeated, and has only lost three individual matches. In fact, five players are undefeated in singles play.
Iowa Falls-Alden (0-1) fell 7-2 at Webster City to begin the season Tuesday. Despite the loss, they competed closely in several of the matches, with many sets being decided by the minimum of two games.
Osage (1-0) opened their season Monday with an 8-1 win over Charles City. In singles, they gave up no more than two games in each win.
DNH will take on Osage at 10:00 a.m., followed by Iowa Falls-Alden vs. Osage at 12:30. The Wolverines and Cadets will finish the triangular with their dual at 3:00.
