Prairie Homestead Hosts 35th Annual Antique Power Show This Weekend

The 35th Annual Prairie Homestead Antique Power Show and Market runs Friday, August 15, through Sunday, August 17 at Prairie Homestead. Admission is $10 for the full weekend, with children 12 and under admitted free. The event showcases John Deere tractors, steam engines, and all gas engines, with live demonstrations like apple pressing, blacksmithing, quilting, rope making, sawmill and shingle mill operations, plus corn shelling, oat threshing, plowing, and potato plowing. Attendees can enjoy food vendors, live music, fireworks, tractor parades, and a magician, along with the schoolhouse, Corn Learning Center, Iowa Prairie, and Florence Elevator.

Next weekend, the 2025 Sukup RadioOnTheGo Tractor Ride will start from Prairie Homestead on Saturday, August 23, with breakfast, lunch, snacks, and a keepsake tractor photo included.
