Aplington City Hall has been without a working landline since Thursday. City Clerk Michelle Thede told RadioOnTheGo News that the issue was first reported by a resident Thursday and continues into Friday. Thede updated us later in the day on Friday to confirm that the issue was with Windstream Telephone customers. The telephone company expected repairs to be made by Monday.
Residents needing to contact city hall are encouraged to visit in person, send a message through the City of Aplington’s Facebook page, or email cityclk@iowatelecom.net.
