The Dike-New Hartford girls tennis team earned two home victories Thursday. They defeated Osage 9-0 and Iowa Falls-Alden 8-1.
Playing eight-game pro sets, the Wolverines swept six of the matches against the Green Devils. Addy Joslin at #1 singles, Lauren Muller at #2, Haley Badker at #3, Autumn Meester at #4, Joslin/Muller at #1 doubles and Tareya Johnson/Abrielle Pokorny at #3 doubles each won 8-0. They gave up no more than two games in the other three matches.
DNH had some closer results against the Cadets, but swept five of the matches. Muller, Badker, Meester, Johnson and Meester/Badker each won by sweep. IFA’s only win was by Addison Venner/Kyrstin Miller at #3 doubles, 9-8 (8-6).
