The Franklin County Board of Supervisors met Monday morning at the Law Enforcement Center in Hampton. The board approved two road retroactive closures for culvert repair work. Raven Avenue was closed between 190th and 200th Streets, and 135th Street was closed between Quail Avenue and Raven Avenue. Work in both areas was started and completed last week.

Supervisors also approved a proposal from the Midwest Art Conservation Center for courthouse statue repair, washing, and waxing. In other action, the board passed a resolution granting a subdivision waiver to G&K Development for land in Section 18 of Lee Township, allowing the property to be used for mineral extraction.
