A Webster City man is being held in the Hardin County Jail following an arrest over the weekend. The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office reports that 19-year-old Carrick Anthony Hilpipre of Webster City was taken into custody on Saturday (Aug. 16), for a probation revocation. His original conviction was for third-degree sexual abuse.
Hilpipre was booked into the Hardin County Jail in Eldora, where he remained as of Monday morning. According to state records, Hilpipre is a Tier-3 registered sex offender. Tier-3 represents the most serious offenders. Those in that category are required to register for life and must verify their information with authorities every 90 days.
