Recently, (Aug. 12) the trial for an Iowa Falls woman accused of multiple felonies was delayed again.
Back in February, the state alleged 53-year-old Candice Brockway knowingly received proceeds by unlawfully and without permission using a credit card belonging to the victim. She faces one count of ongoing criminal conduct – influence enterprise and six counts of first-degree theft.
Her jury trial was set to begin August 12, but it has now been pushed back to October 21 at 9 a.m. in the Hardin County District Court. This is the third time the trial has been continued since its initial date back in May.
If convicted on all counts, Brockway could face up to 85 years in prison.
